What to Expect at Your First Visit
Complimentary Consultation
Your journey begins with a free consultation. During this visit, Dr. Lewis will perform a thorough orthodontic examination, discuss your treatment options, and answer any questions you may have. Our financial coordinator will also review available payment plans and insurance benefits to ensure your treatment is affordable. By the end of this appointment, you'll have a clear understanding of your personalized treatment plan, estimated timeline, and cost.
Preparing for Treatment
If you decide to begin orthodontic treatment, we recommend ensuring your teeth are in good health, with no untreated cavities. A fluoride treatment is also advised to help prevent decay. Before your braces or aligners are placed, we will take detailed diagnostic records, including photographs, X-rays, and 3D models of your teeth. If needed, separators may be used to create space for orthodontic bands. Once records are complete, your treatment can begin.
